SHIFT Update: January 2025

Home SHIFT Update: January 2025

 Good Morning,

We’re off to a strong start in the new year and continue to make great strides on the SHIFT project. We’re thrilled to announce that we’re gearing up for the official launch on April 7! We truly appreciate your patience and support as we’ve navigated our integration with Workday and worked through other challenges to ensure we are ready to launch with a viable system. Below, we’ve outlined our progress and path forward.

Here’s What We’ve Done:

  • Began an introduction of AssetWorks to key stakeholders such as AFOs and RDs.
  • Finalized processes for launch, continued testing and solidified linkages to Workday.
  • Finalized FM and RF Space & Property Dashboards.
  • Finalized list of SHIFT Trainers!

Here’s What’s Coming Up:

Begin Change Freeze on February 1:

  • The project team will enforce a change freeze period to ensure stability and minimize risks leading up to Go-Live. This means any configuration changes or customizations will be halted until after Go-Live.
  • Complete user-acceptance testing, functional integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Prepare UMD-based trainers for staff training.
  • Announce staff training schedule and finalize training materials.
  • Get ready! We’ll be reaching out shortly to schedule your training for our exciting new system!
