UPDATE: ORDER PROCESSING
Facilities Management (FM) Warehouse Update & Order Processing
Due to recent and unexpected early retirements, the FM Warehouse Stores Operations team is facing staffing shortages that may lead to delays in processing some purchase requests.
YOUR ACTION:
Please know that the FM Warehouse Operations Teams is commited to fulfilling all orders as promptly as possible. To help manage workloads during this time, please include accurate “needed by” dates on all orders. If your team anticipates unusual demands for stock items (e.g., for school openings, football games or large events), let us know in advance to help us plan accordingly.
For urgent or emergency orders, we ask that departments submit their requests through the usual channels and also contact the University Store Warehouse team directly to ensure appropriate prioritization and coordination.
As we work to fill open positions, we will continue to provide updates on any delays that may impact order processing timelines. If you have questions or need immediate assistance, please contact Brian Beall or Jeff Flowers at 301-405-5224.

IMPROVEMENTS: BILLING
Billing Update
We’re happy to share that our fourth billing file has been posted, and we’ve now resumed our regular billing cycle. This cycle aligns with the University’s bi-weekly pay periods and runs through the end of each pay period.
What's New:
- Customers can now view work order transactions through Facilities Service Central.
- Customers now have transaction summaries for a work order sent directly to customer inboxes.

REMINDER
Scheduled AssetWorks Maintenance on August 17th
On Sunday, August 17th, AssetWorks will be performing its regularly scheduled monthly maintenance.
Impact: You may experience an intermittent system outage between 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).
Action Required: Please plan and schedule your AiM and Facilities Service Central (FSC) activities accordingly to minimize any disruption during this time.
