SHIFT Update - March 2024

We are now less than 90 days to Go Live and we are excited to be on this path with you. As a reminder, AssetWorks has 3 major components:

  • ReADY Request is our customer service portal. You can get to it on a desktop or through the ReADY Request app.
  • AiM is the brains and “back end” portion of the IWMS.
  • GO is the mobile app for our field staff.

Here’s What We’ve Done:

  • We started testing the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and Work Management modules on February 26. Thanks to your review, we are making real-time updates to the system, and it gets better every day. If you haven’t participated in testing, it’s not too late to join hundreds of your colleagues in in-person testing.
  • ReADY Request, ReADY Space, Keys & Access, and CPPM Lite are in the final stages of process and procedure development and will be ready for testing in the coming weeks.
  • Automation and Reporting processes are continuing for the O&M and Space Property modules.
  • Our shops have reduced open work tickets in preparation for Go Live. Thanks for your help in reducing those numbers.

Here’s What’s Coming Up:

  • Testing for the Asset Management, Inventory, and Project Management modules will begin March 11.
  • AssetWorks training is being finalized and will take place in April, May, and beyond.
  • AssetWorks (ReADY, AiM, and GO) is scheduled for a May 31 launch.

How You Can Participate

Did You Know?

Did you know that the ReADY Request app allows you to use voice-to-text to get notes into the system? This saves field staff time and provides hands-free functionality.

Continuous Improvement

One of the features of our testing program is the inclusion of real-time updates based on feedback from each of our participants. In our first week, we had over 53 testers who contributed more than 162 hours in person and asynchronously. Their input resulted in immediate system improvements for processes affecting you and our customers. We can’t wait to hear more feedback from you!
