Facilities Service Central: Two-week update, April 28, 2025
Greetings colleagues,
Thanks so much for your support of Facilities Service Central, which officially launched on April 7. This new system is designed to streamline how you request facilities services, track progress, and stay informed throughout the process. Simply submit a request online, and we’ll take care of the rest! I’m reaching out today to share some important updates and helpful resources to make your experience even smoother. As always, feel free to reach out if you need any assistance.
Billing Pause Notice
Billing is paused until early May to accommodate billing process changes. During this time, transaction reports of your work order requests or charges are temporarily unavailable. Starting in early May, customers will be able to generate their own reports in the new system. Note: Past billing details from Tririga will not transfer—contact your Facility Liaison for legacy info. The new system will be in a "hypercare" phase until early summer, with future improvements and requests for your feedback to follow.
Status of Existing Work Orders
As part of the transition to Facilities Service Central, FM successfully migrated 1,798 work orders from Tririga. In the first two weeks after launch, 3,194 new work orders were submitted through the new system. At this time, no additional work orders will be migrated. If a previous request was not transferred and you still need service, please submit a new request through Facilities Service Central using your UMD login.
